DESCRIPTION
Das LittleMax 2 System ist ein ultrakompaktes, leistungsstarkes,
passives Satellitensystem zur Beschallung kleiner und mittelgroßer
Auditorien und Events. Das System zeichnet sich durch geringste
Abmessungen und niedriges Gewicht aus. Transport und Aufbau sind
deshalb vollkommen problemlos. Zum Lieferumfang gehören je 2
LM10-2 Fullrange Boxen und LM12-1 Subwoofer, 2 Hochständerrohre
mit Gewindebolzen und jeweils 2 Speakon Lautsprecherleitungen mit
4m und 8m Länge.
TheLittleMax 2 System is an ultra-compact, powerful, passive satellite
system, which is perfect for sound reinforcement applications in small
and medium size venues. The system distinguishes itself by its most
compact dimensions and low weight. Therefore, transport and set-up
are as simple as possible. The shippment includes two LM10-2 full
range loudspeaker systems and LM12-1 sub woofers, two poles with
pole-mount flange and two 4m as well as 8m Speakon speaker cables
each.
Die LM10-2 ist als hochbelastbares 2-Weg System konzipiert und
kann entweder als Fullrangebox allein, oder zusammen mit einem
passiven Subwoofer ( z.B. LM12-1 ), oder als Mittelhochtonteil in
aktiven Mehrweganlagen eingesetzt werden (empfohlene aktive Über-
gangsfrequenz: 100 - 150 Hz ).
The LM10-2 is a 2-way loudspeaker system with high power handling
capacity that has been designed to be used as stand-alone full range
system, together with a passive sub woofer (e. g. LM12-1) or as Mid/Hi
component in active multi-way setups. (recommended active cross-
over frequency: 100 - 150 Hz).
Das halbseitig trapezförmig ausgebildete Gehäuse erlaubt auch die
problemlose Anwendung als Monitor, insbesondere für Keyboards.
Im Tief-Mitteltonbereich zwischen 80 Hz und 7 kHz arbeitet ein Dyna-
cord 10" Tieftöner 357793. Der Hochtonbereich ab 7kHz wird von
einem Electro-Voice DH2010A/HPT94 Constant Directivity Hornsy-
stem übertragen. Die Lautsprecherkomponenten sind durch Thermo-
schalter und Halogenprotectoren gegen kritische Leistungspegel und
kurzzeitige thermische Überlast geschützt. Das Gehäuse der LM10-2
besteht aus 16 mm Mediapan. Alle Gehäuseverbindungen und Ver-
strebungen sind genutet und verleimt. Die Gehäuseoberfläche ist mit
strapazierfähigem, schwarz-mattem Strukturallack ausgestattet. Die
Lautsprecher sind frontseitig durch ein extrem stabiles, pulverbe-
schichtetes Metallgitter geschützt. Das Anschlußfeld der LM10-2 be-
sitzt zwei Speakonbuchsen für sicheren Anschluß und problemloses
Weiterschleifen. Durch den seitlich versenkten Griff ist ein leichter und
sicherer Transport gewährleistet. 4 großflächige Gummifüße, eine im
Boden versenkte Hochständerhülse sowie die halbseitige Trapezform
gestatten unterschiedlichste Aufbauvarianten.
Through its half-sided trapezoidal shaped enclosure the LM10-2 is also
suitable as monitor speaker system, especially for keyboard applicati-
ons. The Lo-Mid range between 80 Hz and 7 kHz is reproduced by a
Dynacord 10" woofer 357793. Hi range frequencies above 7 kHz are
transmitted via an Electro-Voice DH2010A/HPT94 Constant Directivi-
ty Horn system. Thermal breakers and halogen protectors prevent that
the loudspeaker components are damaged by critical output levels and
short-term thermal overload. The cabinet of the LM10-2 is made of 16
mm Mediapan. All connections of enclosure parts as well as the internal
bracing are slotted and glued togethe.
The cabinet’s surface is coated with hard-wearing matt black structure
lacquer. Front-protection for the loudspeaker systems is gained
through an extremely stable, powder-coated metal grille.
The terminal board of the LM10-2 provides two Speakon female-type
connectors which ensure a secure connection and trouble-free carry-
ing the signal through. A recessed handle on the side guarantees easy
and safe transportation. Four heavily dimensioned rubber foot stands,
the pole-mount sleeve-joint that is recessed in the bottom side as well
as the cabinet’s half-sided trapezoidal shape allow a wide variety of
different combinations in the loudspeaker setup.

The LM12-1 is a sub woofer system with an integrated passive
PowerMax 12 sub woofer frequency crossover, highest efficiency and
extreme compact dimensions.
Als Antrieb des Bassreflexdesigns wird ein Electro-Voice DL12SX
Woofer verwendet, der höchste Belastbarkeit, hohen Wirkungsgrad
und geringe Verzerrungen sicherstellt. Die eingebaute passive Power-
Max 12 Frequenzweiche gestattet den direkten Parallelbetrieb des
Subwoofers an Fullrange Kabinetten. Passive Satellitenanlagen kön-
nen daher auf einfachste Weise mit geeigneten Fullrange Kabinetten,
beispielsweise LM10-2, aufgebaut werden. Der Electro-Voice DL12SX
Woofer ist mit einem Thermoschalter und Halogenprotectoren gegen
kritische Leistungspegel und kurzzeitige thermische Überlast ge-
schützt. Das Gehäuse ist aus 16mm Mediapan vernutet, verleimt und
innen mehrfach verstrebt aufgebaut, um störende Gehäuseresonan-
zen zu eliminieren. Die Gehäuseoberfläche ist mit einem strapazier-
fähigem schwarz-mattem Strukturallack ausgestattet Der Woofer ist
frontseitig durch ein extrem stabiles, pulverbeschichtetes Metallgitter
geschützt. Das Anschlußfeld der LM12-1 besitzt zwei Speakonbuch-
sen für sicheren Anschluß und problemloses Weiterschleifen. Auf der
Oberseite befindet sich ein versenkter Gewindeflansch sodaß Satelli-
tensysteme auf einfache Weise aufgebaut werden können. Durch den
seitlich versenkten Griff ist ein leichter und sicherer Transport gewähr-
leistet. 4 großflächige Gummifüße gewährleisten eine hohe Standsi-
cherheit
The optimally vented cabinet design houses an Electro-Voice DL12SX
woofer, which guarantees highest power handling, high efficiency, and
low distortion. The integrated passive PowerMax 12 crossover allows
direct parallel operation of the sub woofer together with full range
cabinets, such as the LM10-2, and easy setup of passive satellite
systems. Thermal breakers and halogen protectors prevent that the
Electro-Voice DL12SX woofer is damaged by critical output levels and
short-term thermal overload. The enclosure is made of 16 mm Media-
pan. It is slotted, glued and internally braced to eliminate unwanted
resonances. The cabinet’s surface is coated with hard-wearing matt
black structure lacquer. Front-protection for the woofer is gained
through an extremely stable, powder-coated metal grille.
