Battery Replacement
For best performance, we recom-
mend replacing the batteries that
came with this toy with three, new
alkaline “AA” (LR6) batteries.

Battery Safety Information
Batteries may leak fluids that can
cause a chemical burn injury or ruin
your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
•Do not mix old and new batteries or
batteries of different types: alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc) or recharge-
able (nickel-cadmium).
Bottom View
•Insert batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
•Remove batteries during long
periods of non-use. Always remove
exhausted batteries from the toy.
Dispose of batteries safely. Do not
dispose of batteries in a fire. The
batteries may explode or leak.

• Place the base on a smooth
flat surface.
• Position the quilt above the
base with the loops facing up.
• Fit the three holes in the quilt
over the two buttons and tab
on the base.
• Fit the two tabs on the back of
the birdhouse assembly into the
slots in the base. Press down
on the front of the birdhouse to
"snap" it into the base.

• Slide the mirror in and
out to adjust for sitting
or lying babies.
• Slide the overhead mirror into the
groove in the back of the bird-
house as shown.

Fun Sounds, Lights and Links!
Power/Volume
Switch
• Attach the soft toys and links to the loops on the quilt, the pillow and
the birdhouse.
• The support pillow can be used to help hold up babies lying on their tummies.
• Locate the power/volume switch on birdhouse.
• Slide the switch to the desired position: off ; on with low volume
with high volume
• Tap the loop on the front of the birdhouse for fun tunes and lights.

• When your child is finished playing with this toy, slide the power/volume
switch to the off position.
Hint: If your child is not actively playing with this toy, it turns off auto-
matically (sleep mode).
Care
Soft Toy Links
• Slide to remove the toys from the links.
• Place the toys in a pillowcase and wash them in cold water on a gentle
cycle. Do not use bleach. Line dry the soft toys.
• Slide the soft toys back onto the links.
Quilt and Support Pillow
• Remove the birdhouse, base, links and overhead mirror.
• Wash the quilt and support pillow in cold water on a gentle cycle. Do not
use bleach. Line dry the quilt and support pillow.
Birdhouse and Overhead Mirror
• Wipe the surface with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap and
water solution.
• Do not immerse birdhouse or overhead mirror.
