Mounting
1.
2.
If you are not completely comfortable doing this type of mounting and wiring
project, seek help from a qualified service technician.
Consult the vehicle owner’s manual and the manual for the stereo system prior to
installing this device.
3.
4.
Turn the vehicle off and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Select a proper location to mount the Speaker and mark it. Keep in mind that the
Wires from the Speaker must be able to reach a pre-existing speaker terminal.
The Speaker can be top or bottom mounted. If there is no hole for mounting the
Speaker, then a hole must be drilled at the point selected.
5.
The speaker and power lines must be protected at contact points with the
vehicle’s body to prevent possible shorting.
6.
7.
Installation may require that a hole be drilled through which to insert the wiring.
The black wire with the white stripe is the positive connection and must be
connected to the positive terminal on the pre-existing speaker. The solid black
wire connects to the ground or negative terminal.
8.
9.
Properly insulate and cap off all wires.
The unit will now broadcast whenever the pre-existing speaker does.
